It is best to set up a customer account before you start designing. Then you have the possibility to save your projects.
Next, click on the CREATE NOW button on the homepage or product of your choice. Now you can upload your images to the gallery by selecting your source. You can upload images from your PC/mobile device or directly from your Facebook, Instagram or Google account. Alternatively, you can drag and drop images from your desktop or a folder directly into the editor.
If the quality (resolution) of your photos is not sufficient, your photo will be marked with an exclamation mark. You can find more information on the topic of image quality below under "Technical questions". You can drag your photos from the gallery into the template. It doesn't matter if the format is portrait or landscape, the pictures will automatically be cropped to the square book format. After placing your pictures, you can move them around, select the section and change the order of the pictures. To replace a picture, simply drag a new one from the gallery onto the book surface. You can enter a short text for each photo. Depending on the page and text size, you have between two and five lines of space. For line breaks, simply press the Enter key. To change the background colour of the text pages, simply drag the desired colour from the background colour collection onto the corresponding page. Try it out and you will see how simple and intuitive the design is!
You can see the result of your photo book in the small preview below the design area. You can also use the "Preview" option in the menu to get a larger preview of your photo product. As soon as you are satisfied with your work, click the button "Into the bag".
Or you can save your product for later editing in your customer account, which you created at the beginning of the design process.
When you have finished designing your project, simply click on "Add to bag" and your photo product will be placed in the shopping cart. Please be patient, this may take some time depending on the size of your images. Before you do that, you have the possibility to check your project. Under the menu item "More" you will find the option "Check project". If you click on this option, our software checks whether your project is logical and qualitatively flawless, i.e. whether all pages are filled with pictures and the pictures have a sufficient resolution.
Before you can add your photo product to the shopping cart, you will be asked for print approval. Please take your time and check your personalised photo book for spelling mistakes and correct image order. If everything is in order, tick the appropriate box and place your photo product in the shopping basket. Please note: You are releasing your personalised photo gift for printing exactly as you see it in the preview! It's better to check a second time to make sure everything fits.
After you have placed your product in the shopping cart, you can design additional products or proceed to checkout. Register for a customer account or log in with your existing data. After you have entered your billing and delivery address, you will be redirected to payment. Pay comfortably and securely via Paypal, Sofortüberweisung or credit card. After payment you will receive an order confirmation by email. Here you will find all the details of your order. Please check the data and contact us immediately if, contrary to expectations, something went wrong.
You can save your photo projects for 45 days and finish them later. All changes you make are saved so that you can continue working on them later without any problems. To save products you need to create an account. When you are in the design tool, you have the option to save and load your project.
With a customer account, you also have the option of conveniently requesting a repeat order after a completed order. We store already ordered projects on our servers for 1 year.

You have three options to choose from for each project saved there: Edit, Duplicate and Delete.

You select the voucher for the amount of your choice and place it in the shopping basket as usual. As soon as the payment process is complete, we will send you your voucher with code by email. You can then simply forward it or print it out and give it to the recipient.
Alternatively, you can also order our voucher box. This will then be sent directly to the recipient by post.
Kleine Prints Photo products and quality
We print on the best digital press available, which prints almost in offset quality. What does that mean? The result simply looks very good :)
Because this printing process offers rich, vibrant colours. The paper used for our photo books is Mulitloft. The paper thickness is approximately one millimetre and is reminiscent of cardboard children's books. The surface of the premium paper is silk matt and feels very smooth. We achieve the best possible printing results on this paper. The acid-free fine paper is FSC and PEFC licensed. The American manufacturer works CO2-neutral with 100% wind energy.
We produce and print according to the current EU guidelines. Our photo products are made for children, they bear the CE seal for toys according to DIN EN71. Nevertheless, they should not be put in the mouth excessively. The material would soften through prolonged wetting and the colour would rub off. This certainly applies to any kind of printed product, because printing ink is generally not suitable for consumption.
If your baby still puts a lot of things in his mouth, we recommend our laminated versions of the photo book and memo game. The lamination is wipeable and more resistant than the matt version, which is only covered with water-based toy varnish.
We always offer you the paper on which we achieve the best results. In the course of new product launches, we test new papers and if they convince us, we also offer them.
For a good print we need an appropriate resolution (quality) of the images. At least 800 x 800 pixels and at least 200 DPI, better 300 DPI are good. When uploading the images, you will be informed whether the resolution of your images is sufficient. A small exclamation mark informs you if the resolution is too low when uploading or zooming. You can still use the image. However, it may look blurred in print.
Our tips: - When choosing your photos, make sure not to use too dark motifs. Photos outside or in daylight always look best. - If possible, don't use pictures sent to you via Whatsapp or similar; these services reduce the size of the picture file and the photos can look blurred in print. - You can find more tips for good children's photos in this blog article, in this article or here.
For our products, image data of 2 to 3 MB are completely sufficient. Larger files can slow down the processing. We therefore advise you to reduce the size of your large image files before uploading them. Often large image files are displayed pixelated in the editor. The print will look great, only the view will be adjusted in favour of the loading time.

You can upload files in JPG and PNG format.
Our photo editor also works on your smartphone. On tablets, you can design your Kleine Prints photo product in landscape format. However, we find it much more comfortable to work on a laptop.
Small tip: If you want to use your photos from your smartphone, log in to your customer account there. Then select your photo product and load your pictures into your gallery. Afterwards, you can easily switch to a larger screen and your pictures will remain saved in your gallery.

Delivery & Shipping
We deliver to delivery addresses in Germany, all EU countries as well as Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the United Kingdom. Delivery is made with DHL.
You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number as soon as your goods have been shipped. DHL will deliver your parcel within Germany in 1-2 working days (islands 2-3 working days). To all other European countries, shipping usually takes 7 working days. DHL delivery staff are on the road for you from Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm.
We fire up our presses for you on Mondays and Thursdays (more often at Easter and Christmas, of course!).
